Yes, the first occurrence of each line is kept in its original position. Subsequent duplicates are removed. If your list is "A, B, A, C", the result is "A, B, C" with A remaining in its first position.
By default, comparison is case-sensitive ("Apple" and "apple" are different). Enable case-insensitive mode to treat them as duplicates. When removing case-insensitive duplicates, the first occurrence's original capitalization is preserved.
